Security
Last updated: May 15, 2026
This transparency page describes the safeguards currently reflected in LingoFlow's product and repository. It is not a certification report.
Audio and text processing
This feature processes conversation audio for transcription and translation. If another person is involved, please obtain their consent before using it. When history saving is enabled, transcripts, translations, and summaries may be saved to your account.
Security practices
- App and API traffic is designed to use HTTPS/TLS.
- Firebase Authentication protects account-based API calls.
- Cloud Run, Firestore, and Google Cloud Storage are used for backend processing, job state, and stored audio where needed.
- Stripe handles payment processing; LingoFlow does not directly store card numbers.
- Error logs are designed to avoid storing audio, transcripts, translations, summaries, API keys, Firebase tokens, and Stripe secrets.
AI training non-use
We do not use your audio, transcripts, translations, or summaries to train LingoFlow-owned AI models.
When external AI services are used, data is processed according to each provider's data protection terms. For OpenAI API-based processing, OpenAI states that API data is not used to train or improve OpenAI models unless the customer explicitly opts in. We do not claim that provider-side data is never retained or always deleted immediately.
What is not claimed
LingoFlow does not currently claim third-party security certifications on this page. TODO_SECURITY_VERIFY: confirm any future certification status before publishing stronger claims.
